Manish’s rich history comes from his father and grandfather who were goldsmiths back in Gujarat, India. It was in 1956 that they decided to explore and expand in the gold jewellery market of the Middle East. This move was a stepping stone in laying the foundation of Manish Jewels.

The beginning of a magical journey

Roaming around the bylanes of his hometown in Gujarat and spending time with his father Vrajlal Dhanak at the workshop and the movie theatre that the family owned, Manish inherited deep knowledge in the skill of jewellery making and designing, while also learning the basics of running a business.

From the tender age of 14, Manish was inclined to learn everything that is required to run a jewellery business. However, it was his father who taught him the benefits and what he can achieve by being patient - patience to listen, patience to learn, patience to observe, and patience to conquer.

Following this life mantra, Manish finally founded the Manish Jewels in 1981 and set on a journey to become one of the most loved jewellery brands for pure diamond and gold jewels in the United Arab Emirates. Since then he has envisaged branching out and reaching new heights with the flagship store in Gold and Diamond Park, Dubai.

With a determined team of designers having a diverse creative background, primary 2D sketches are drawn to precision which is later animated into 3D models with an exclusive team of CAD designers. These 3D models help in creating the 18kt base of the design for our artisans.

The backbone that gives life to our sophisticated designs - Artisans

After the creation of the 3D models, our skillful and passionate team of artisans and craftsmen take the centre stage and begin to spread their magic over these models. Ranging from die cuts to metal cuts, they precisely work towards settling the precious diamonds and stones along with their polishing and cleaning to bring out the ever-shining glow of the jewels. Each piece is handcrafted to excellence reflecting the love and care given by our artisans while crafting.
